V20 weather forecast. Looking for Bluefin & mahi. Cleared Manasquan Inlet before 5 am, beautiful run to first stop 40 miles east, Glory hole lobster pot markers trolled for an hour no life. Ran 15 miles across the gully to the NE side then trolled the ledges and humps around and down into Chicken Canyon. Nothing but a handful of 2 pound bluefish on TLD 25s and Penn Intl 50s, eating expensive ballyhoo trolling baits and chewing leaders...

Oh...we snapped a cheap outrigger pole...

Stopped at the Stolt wreck on the way in. A lot of work to get 3 ling (red hake).

The only good thing I can say is I didn't lose an anchor.

I never turned on the GoPro.

Back at dock after 4pm

Least u got to go. Weather has been so unpredictable here and it's sooooo hot. 95 with 98% humidity.

Charter I know a bit in Belmar told me to go 36 miles out for Mahi.......then text a pic to me a couple of days later, maybe 10 Mahi on the deck.

So, I suppose they're out there ...............somewhere.

Friends report of getting one 36" Mahi on edge of the AC Ridge on cedar plug......clearest water was 12-15 miles off.....temp 78, turtles around etc so they stopped there.

going long in the 23 Sea Hunt for the Monday afternoon BFT bite at the Bacardi. If we don't catch a biggun, might run out to Hudson overnight and drift some sword baits
