water temp sensor installation
 

Hi, working on my 86 v20 instrument panel, (picture enclosed) i have a evinrude 225 was wondering where can i install a sensor at? i still have both left and right bank, evinrude water temp.sensors from the factory installed. i was thinking of installing the sensor between the left and right thermostats. Any suggestions? There is a hose line running to the blowout valve from the thermostats. (photo enclosed)

There should be a threaded boss in the head near the thermostat housing to thread in a 1/8" pipe tap temp sensor.
