Cuddy Cabin Door Hardware

I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures (original equip or otherwise) of the hardware on the cuddy cabin sliding hatch and teak door. I stripped my boat's teak this weekend and refinished and I'm about to put it back on and I just can't justify re-rigging the nonsense that the previous owner had on the door. There's some garbage swivel latch on the top of the door where it attaches to the hatch and its WAY too big and looks gross. The bottom has a 'ship bolt' that's spring loaded, and actually works pretty well and there's a small door hook that keeps it from moving around when its open and a snap that keeps the two parts of the door together when its open. Its all very clunky and I'm interested in replacing some or all with a more simple and elegant solution.

Thanks!

sounds like original equipment to me.

Ah. So it came like that. I might just put another barrel bolt on the top. This latch system is pretty awful looking.

Thanks.

Sounds original like Skunk said. I did away with my door, but I think if I put another one on I'd try to make one that was a single piece and would swing all the way inside the cabin against the port side bulkhead to be out of the way when not needed.

Anyone who wants my factory cabin door is welcome to it, no charge.
