Took teh Sea Ray out last weekend
the weather was good last weekend and took the Sea Ray sundeck out for a shake down with the family. Found a few things that need to be looked at, but overall it did well, especially since it hadn't been in the water in three years. Put the boat in at Bushy Park boat landing on the fresh water side, ran out Durham Creek into the Cooper River, took the river all the way up to the tail race, thru the locks and into Lake Moultrie

After I brought the boat back home, I backed it in the back yard, turned the battery off and went inside, what a concept, I didn't have to spend 2 hours washibg and spraying everythign down |
Your girls are growing up very nicely. A great experience for them to drive the boat and go through the locks. I still remember going through the locks from fresh to salt water and back in Seattle as a kid.

AT LEAST YOU HAVE A BOAT RAMP YO PUT IN AT!!!!!! ALL BUT 1 ARE CLOSED HERE ON LAKE WYLIE DUE TO LOW WATER(OR NO WATER). HAVE BEEN THRU THE LOCKS MANY TIMES. I THINK ITS THE TALLEST LOCK IN THE US AT 75 FEET. DOES THAT SOUND RIGHT SPARE?
