worried about my kid............
 

so my wife follows my 17 year old on twitter and he posted something like ' I hate every aspect of my life'.
guys, this kid has it all. he's tall and lean and muscular. a natural athlete. blond hair, blue eyes and just every parents dream. does well in school. his friends were coming and going all hours of the day and night, until a few weeks ago. now I don't see any of them. I know he smokes weed. probably a lot of it but what do you do?? I smoked weed and there wasn't a dam thing my parents could do about it. he works and makes ok money for a 17 year old and he seems to have drive. knows what he wants to do. will be getting his license in a few weeks. wont open up to either one of us and gets angry if we ask him questions. man, this parenting thing is tough.

X2 Or just about any activity that involves you and him only, with no chance for outside stimulus. Fishing is the best, just because you're both in the boat, and there's no distractions (other than catching a fish) ... Plus he'll be sober. Good luck Charlie. Prayers for all of you sent. :pray2:

I know I'm not that old, bit sometimes all ak id needs is to be reminded he is loved. Try and do something just the 2 of you to show him you still care about him. Alot of the time it is the small things that make the biggest difference.
