Evinrude system monitoring gage and wiring.

Hello everyone
I have a 97 Evinrude 225, going on a 86 v20 c/c, and I wish to use the factory systems monitor gage.
Does anyone who has this system installed? Do you have it spliced into the regular instruments also?
