20 foot CC Seacraft SF20

Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
Very nice indeed. That with the Yammi 150 Four Stroke would be a sweet ride. If I had done the work, I'd have raised the transom notch though to accept a longer leg motor or bracket it. ::)

Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
One of my favorite boats. CB, you're exactly right on the transom height. What happened to the scupper holes, she's supposed to be self bailing?? I know someone near me with the exact boat, even the color scheme and year. He did have the transom raised with and put a new Suzi 140 4s. Also had the deck raised 2" to help keep water from coming in scuppers (wet feet)
If it wasn't for that 20" tansom I'd be bidding on her. |
Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
Does it come with kicker motor shown? Guess she's only got 20" legs.

That Ebay listing says that boat is a 1971...is that true....if it is who ever did the restoration is an artist. Very nice Job! even better with a bracket ;D

Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
the guy selling it is a boat manufacture and does restorations as a hobby. He builds tons of Skiffs seen in the Carolina's. I talked to him at a show last fall. I actually bought a pallet full of control cables off him once. Great guy and company.

Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
Well he sure did a heck of a job on that beauty,. I would like to take my V20 to him, toss him a credit card and tell him to call me when its done ;D

Re: 20 foot CC Seacraft SF20
Why spend all the money and time and Not raise the transom is beyond me.
Also, the old Seacrafts are notorious for soft decks. I bet the stringers are in need of attention. That boat does look great but I'd be leary. |
