Sweet Phat! How's the new engine?
I hit the mother lode at goodwill on Travis Mcgee novels, someone's old lady dropped off their whole collection. I bought them all, 18 total for 3 bucks! If there are any you don't have that I have multiples of you're welcome to them. |
so far, i am really impressed with the new power. it's a big improvement in the fuel consumption. i have 50 miles on the gps and burned 12 gallons out of this tank. i have a total of 40 hours on it so far. four stroke is a different animal that the old 2 strokes. i am still working out some prop issues, with some advice from ridge, but so far the only complaint i have is what it cost.
good job on the j d macdonald. it's not mandatory, but if you can read them in the order they were written, it adds a little to the story |
couldn't find flounder?!?! were you looking in the parking lot??? don't know how it is down there but man, they are in super abundance up here.

Welcome to the 4 stroke side...its really nice here. It took me a while to find the right prop too, and in the end I settled on 2, one for cruising, one for skiing/innertubing. |
yep, rmb, i was dragged into the new century. i think the weight on the cuddys is a little more of a factor than the duals or center. i am going to try to move the batteries forward to make up for some of it.
charlie, that's probably true, all of the guys that used to catch flounder on weekends up north retire, moved to florida and catch them seven days a week. we had a lot more fish before air conditioning and DDT made the state more inviting to our northern brothers. you used to have to be pretty tough to live here, now not so much. |
