They didn't make a F-250 in 97. The F-250 is a 4 stroke, and I don't think they started until around 05-06. A 97 250HP would be an OX66 or carbed engine. A bit on the heavy side, and the carbed engine GUZZLES gas.

Well that explains why I couldn't find anything googling it....

Yep a 2 smoke carbed 250 would prolly be too thirsty for my taste.....
