I have some friends down in key west asking for good restaurants. I have told them about the ones I like. A&B LOBSTER HOUSE,BO,S FISH WAGON MR FISH AT THE BEACH. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? NEED TO BE REAL NEAT PLACES OF THE BEATEN PATH!!! (NEAT AS IN COOL GREAT LOCAL KIND OF PLACE)

if thats the Cuban restaurant across town that i went to it is awesome about 10 min by car from tourist area.

it's over by the gas company, kinda in the middle of the island. lotta locals

Blue Heaven, Conch Republic Seafood Restaurant. And on Stock Island: Hogfish Grill and The Rusty Anchor. If money is no object take the boat to Tank Island and dine at Latitudes

the " commanders mansion" just down the boardwalk from conch republic was pretty good,a little fancy/pricey.

You could also send them over to the rooftop place,Eden ,lol

Definitely off the beaten path - 632 Olivia St.

Excellent menu items. large portions of fish cooked to perfection.

Have to call for reservation or wait over an hour for a seat.
