The first V boat to the moon

Why not ? The boat's a classic. What better symbol of American spirit than to put a statue on the moon using a real V boat.

Just make it part of the payload, then soft land it with a parachute.

Who thinks I'm getting carried away ?

well.......

the idea of A V20 on the moon is a little far fetched. the idea that you can use a parachute where there is no atmosphere is downright impossible. sounds like a hell of a trip though. Pass me the drugs and let's do it:party: LOL

Congratulations Sherlock - you win the prize for finding " something's not right " with this picture ! Close to being asked........" what color was George Washington's white horse"?

Now, back to reasons for sending a V boat to the moon:

1. When the Chinese finally get there, they'll focus all their time on how to copy it.
2. The Russians will think it's some kind of new American super weapon
3. The Aliens will just be confused.
4. It will make us happy when we use our high power telescopes.......so we can discuss
what year V it is, how it's rigged etc.

No drugs needed, it's pure Americana. V boat is right up there with apple pie and baseball.

Its a complete waste of time...there are no navigable bodies of water on the moon.

No navigable bodies of water on the moon .....really ?

Darn, I always thought the section known as Oceanus Procellarum was filled with Striped Bass !!!
