V21 owners - take a look at the fish box

Look under the top inside ( roof ) of the port side fish box......found Wellcraft had left gap around the ( ceiling ) rim that I'm about to seal off.

Not a big issue, except that when hosing out the fish box, water can infiltrate and escape through. By sealing with epoxy and caulking, the bottom drain will be the only way water escapes, which is the way it's supposed to be.

How big is the gap?

Noticed it before when I used it as a livewell/bait tank. Pretty large gap from what I remember. Post some pics and description of how you doi it. Subscribed!

Not big. I checked mine yesterday. It was less than an eighth inch. BUt that's enough to let water through.

BTW, remember, this is for a V21, not a V20.

Suggest you take a good look, not go by feel alone.

Stick your head in there, then look up. Good for the neck.

Thanks for the info on the gap guys!

Yup, it's the gap and how it's finished up under there. Easy to improve.

Sounds like a good way to use up some leftover 3M 5200
