Re: they made a 26?
agreed and get rid of that low cut wave catcher, I mean transom and she would really be an off shore rig. First one I have seen. You think it is going to go for the buy it now price seems like he is extremely proud to me :o

Re: they made a 26?
That hull is the old 248 and 250 hull. They made them in the offshore, sportsman or the coastal models. *I fished alot of tournaments out of a 248 Sportsman. *Made in outboard, sea drive or IO configuration. *Also dual engines. *Don't know why a 23k price, you can buy them for cheap in florida. *I believe Schools just bought this same hull. *Wellcraft sold a bunch of these.

Re: they made a 26?
Interesting old sea drive version converted to a barcket with dual engines, could be the trailerable off shore runner, for 1/4 the price of some of the new rigs even with new outboards. Humm

Re: they made a 26?
i looked that boat up on wellcraft and it's a 1985 hull the cap and hull changed in 1986 totally. It may be a end of the yr run in 1985 and called an 1986. but it's a 1985 248 Offshore. Measures 24' 8"

Re: they made a 26?
I'm confused again ::) didn't someone say its a 26, why isn't that the 25+ that you show the add for Skools, and not a 248 . Apparently some difference in capacity engine wise, why would they advertise it as a 26 footer if it wasn't at least the 25 footer

Re: they made a 26?
guy probably measured the boat over the hardtop and it made it a 26' instead of a 24' 8" lol
