1985 V20 Boat Cover Questions
 

I have a 1985 V20 Cuddy. Wondering if there is a cover i can buy that will fit well or if I need to get a custom one made.

From my several years of reading, if I recall, the best fitting cover was someone that bought one that was originally designed for a deck boat. Makes sense because the big rounded bow flair makes the typical 20' boat cover worthless. If you find one that fits we'll let us know.

Hopefully this helps, as being the original owner of a 1986 V20cc I have gone thru several covers. The Westland by far has been the best. My application is reinforced at console area, cinch line and straps. To extend life of any cover of course is support, and many are trailerable but remove it before trailering as this prematurely causes wear. Surely available for your application.

I'm in the market for a cover too, so far this thread is my best lead.

I checked the Westland lookup tool, they don't have anything listed for v20's. I am going to take measurements next time I am down there for a universal Westland top unless I can get any other recommendations here.

Oval above ground pool cover. National pool wholsalers or something like that. Destroyer has the link, or do a search, lots of info about them.

I just received it last night, to windy to install. 30 to 40 mph winds will try tonight. They guarantee fit. they also gave me $15 off on 1200 denier polyester cover, 10 yr. warranty, trailer able with our QuikSnap™ adjustable strapping system and free shipping total cost $219.
Now if it fit all will be good.I will post tonight after I see how it fits.

Waiting anxiously...... I like the tarp for winter but would like a fit cover for summer time.

FIRST it Fit nicely

For my 1981 V20 20' cuddy cabin with outboard

The one I bought was under Cabin Cruiser Boats up to 20' 5" Long and 102" Wide

I wasn't sure it would fit over the bow rails but it fit great.

Doesn't have a motor cover but they sell one if you need it.

Again I would talk to them on web site, save me $15 and that way you can make sure it will fit your specific boat.
