Step Up and I decided to fish my V21 yesterday .......first jigging up some blues to 18lbs at the Rocks....

Then decided to go for a little ride to the NE, up to Jones Beach NY area and trolled a nice keeper Striper through a big fleet of boats. Didn't see another fish caught there, unlike the reported blitz from Sunday.

Headed back to the Rocks for a few more gators before the wind picked up S / SE and we had to plow our way through 3,4's and likely a few 5' steep tight chop.

Good day fishing with another hard core fisherman.

Jones Beach, I have a relative that was accused of killing two persons and burying them there years ago, he was in jail for it till they found the real guy! For real!!
Glad you guys got out! We are pretty much done here, not that I did much this year any way.

guy just caught a 25er off shrews. phukkin beast.

Charlie - the fish are there, this is the season. Let's get some.

fyi, I was out sunday morning, stuck close to Manasquan inlet. nothing but hoardes of 10" weakfish off of Sea Girt. didn't have time to run north to the shrewsbury rocks.

so, this sunday morning I took a windy 17 mile ride to the shrewsbury rocks to get skunked. Now its monday and beautiful and I'm on a computer.
