Heres a video of a couple of my buddys fishing on the Just Right out of Va Beach and catching Virginias new state record big eye #311 pounds!!! there 2 other bigeyes in there that were 208 and another smaller one. and a couple 50 pound yellowfins

AWESOME fishing right there! Man, those guys are good. Ya boy with the poon has it dialed in w/ poon in one hand and the gaff in the other. Impressive. Very hard fighting fish. The drag going out on that state record.....I bet the angler was like, "WTF, how am I gonna get all this line back?!?!" Thanks for the vid Kracker.

By reports I hear, it was a banner year for big eyes, especially Washington, Baltimore & Wilmington canyons. A lot of North Jersey boats ran out of Cape May to get closer. I was looking at a map and dreaming of trailering the V20 out of OC,MD on a flat day. Its on the far edge of possibility but not realistic...

Yea it was intense big eye fishing here out of rudee inlet. White marlins worked there magic about 3 or 4 weeks ago also. Hoping these boat bluefins make there return this year off vs beach like they have the past 3 years.
