Starting to sound like a broken record.
I was dead set on going to a bracket and full transom, but the more post I read and the more I think about it. My CC especially with my big live well is going to be way too stern heavy. I then remembered that my boat has a big panel that fits inside a channel and effectively creates a big splash well and would stop 95% of a wave comming through the back. So I guess I am convincing myself that not to fix what's not broken and leave the design like it is. I could also put a 200ho etec and move my batteries to the console and solve the extra weight problem.

I have a bracket with a 4-stroke Yammy 150. Two 13gal livewells and bigboy friends who ride back there. With a crew of four and fully loaded with 60g's of gas, ice, tackle and ALWAYS a full fishbox(haha), she sits less than 1/2" below the original waterline....
Not tryin to convince you just given you something to go on......And I love the way she sits back to a head sea. Certainly a godd conversion in my book..... |

You wouldn't happen to have some bigger pics of your boat? Looking at your avatar, that boat sure looks good with the bracket. |
