VRO fuel pump needed
Do by chance any of your parts hounds have a good VRO V4 fuel pump. I had order a supposedly "almost new" one that has cracks all over the housing and leaks like a sieve. Needles to say I ain't putting that thang on my v.

This statement right here is reason enough to dump it and pre-mix. I wouldn't want to trust the oiling of my engine to a 25 year old part known for breakdowns. |
Hey Hedge, while going thru Craigslist tonight I came across this and thought of your post. I think this is what you're looking for. Just an ad I saw, so I know nothing about it, but it looks like a good unit from the pic.
Might be worth a phone call....:head: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/boa/3852254939.html |

Sorry for the confusion guys. I do premix. The VRO system was immediately disabled by Skools the second he got his hands on the boat. What I need is the V4 fuel pump. Like the one pictured
Destroyer. The second pic of the pump is exactly what I need. I will call and see if they will ship. Thanks. |
is it a cross flow or looper V4?
|
looks like a cross flow, pull the plate off the manifold where the hos hooks up and you can mount a pre oil injection fuel pump right in place, you may have to play with the fuel lines to make the bend
