Drones for Fisherman
 

Fishermen in South Florida are being flown over and spied on by drones. A Fishing boat spied in a NO FISHING ZONE,(Dry Tortugas) are being fined for fishing in an unauthorized area.
How bout that..

I don't love the idea of law enforcement using drones but then I don't love being subject to law enforcement.....
I got a high speed driving award yesterday... I don't love that either.... UGH

That's not the way our forfathers wanted this country to be , A GOVERMENT BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE !

I don't know....we all seem to laude the coast guard when they catch poachers or the like. Lot cheaper flying drones than a c130. Only makes sense law enforcement is going to use technology just like everyone else.

But you know, they will tell you that they are protecting the people, that the bad fisherman person was trying to take away fish that belonged to the people, and they are just doing what we hired them to do. :bsflag:

Rob, I actually agree with you to a point... Drones are obviously more cost efficient than a C130 or a cutter patrolling.... But it just bothers me that they are using technology that was designed to spy on bad foreign
nationals against the citizens of our Country. It's a small step from looking to acting... and those drones can also carry bombs and the like.

We already know that the current administration's stated opinion is that they think it's ok to kill American citizens with those same drones, without a trial, without any due process, if they "think" that they may be terrorists. It just scares the crap outta me the way that this administration is heading. These drones are just another step in that direction.

When I hear the current administration say drones I thought they were talkin about drones scouting forward positions on the battlefield. A little survellance for our fighting men, not this..
