At the pond last week
 

Here in central NC the weather went from winter to summer in one day and the fish are confused. At any rate, the pond fishing has been slower than normal but when you do get one, its a nice one.


Around 3.5 pounds

Nice! I fished a farm pond in southern Davidson county Wednesday evening 30 min. before dark. Caught 2 huge shellcrackers and 2 bluegils in no time on worms under a cork. My buddies caught 3 or 4 bass a piece on artificials. Released everything but itching to eat some of those big bream. Maybe next time.

Nice Randleman, that is some good eats there.

Pond owner says we can keep all the crappie and bluegills we want but requests all bass be released so thats what we do.
