capacity sticker

Could have sworn I read a thread here a while ago about where to get new capacity stickers. Searched & can't find it, any ideas?

Just noticed mine is just a shiny square, so I'm looking.

Found a place, kinda steep - $20

But I need to know what the original looks like - all I can remember is 7 persons.

Anybody have a readable 1987 or close capacity plate they can post a pic of?

Thanks,

I am relatively sure you don't need one, but I could be wrong.. I have been without one since the rebuild. When you get to a 20' boat hp is unlimited or so I have been told. LOL.. Not a bad idea to stay within rated capacity but we had 10 people and a dog on the V last year coming off the scallop grounds after my buddys boat broke and I took 5 of his crew and his catch on my boat.. I wouldn't want everyone to get up and walk to one side at the same time but otherwise it held the people very well. Might have been more difficult to explain twice the limit in scallops and why not enough PFD's had we been stopped. :rule:

I never had one in my V nor did I ever worry about it!

Not too worried about it. Where I run I know most of the LE guys or their boss. It just kinda bugs me. But, unless I find a cheaper solution, I'll get over it.

You might wanna look through the Links Section...seems we had a couple of companies making those listed in Links...

I have a copy of one that I think is an 87'. Unfortunately I am not at home right now, and it is on my computer. I will post it up for you tomorrow. At the very least, you will have the specs.
