For the life of me I can't understand how somebody from Jersey would complain about the heat somewhere else. Some of the absolute WORST heat I have been in was in the pinelands of Jersey. 105 hot stagnant air was MISERABLE. I'll take my low to mid 90's any day over that. I know you guys don't get as much summer as we do down here, but when you guys get summer it is HOT! Fire ants aren't that bad, just stay out of there way and your good. Gators are mighty good eating, and not that bad to live around(not like the news would lead you to believe). You guys get hurricanes up there to, and your noreasters can be just as bad or worse. And whats wrong with sawgrass? It's southern scenery.
