media fomented mob control, just like what they do in elections. one of the biggest mistakes of our constitution not establishing guidelines of responsible behavior to the press and our government. relied on the good conscience of men of the press which they had back then. they never expected it to become an arm of the government.

I seen it a couple of days ago and have been unable comprehend the actions of the paper.
Not being schooled as to the proper or lawful reporting requirements, in my mind this appears to be a gross misuse/abuse of power on the papers behalf.
Yes it's public record but the ability to obtain and publish such information relating to the enormous personal information available now in that data base has went way beyond journalism.
Seen it on other sites where many of the papers reporters now have their name, home address, personal phone numbers and Google Map home photo's listed. Not to mention the vast quantity of other internet information available on them.

the guy who wrote the article holds a gun permit.

Want his address, phone numbers, picture of his house, to know his likes and dislikes?

I don't give a damn if it's legal or not, that's a first class invasion of privacy in my book. Just goes to show you where this country is headed.....

The writer Dwight Worley is in Queens and the publisher Janet Hasson is in Mamaroneck.

They are pushing for a gun registry program which in their minds means gun ownership is on the same level as a sex offender registry and they feel that every neighbor deserves the right to know. That is very wrong!!!!!
I know here in MA you cannot get that same info because it's believed that the wrong people will use that info to break into your home just to steal your guns. Which is very probable.
Little by little, our Constitution is being used like an old dirty rag.
The right to bear arms is a Constitutional right. Gay marriage is not! Tell me; how does the current administration view these two?

But any criminal with half a brain will make sure he doesn't rob any of those address's knowing there will be a gun.
