You mean.........removing the original ? Because it's glued in and hard to remove ?

I think he was just commenting on the durability of the carpet. It's not very difficult to remove, though... Just grab a loose corner and pull. I painted my cuddy with bilge paint just because I thought the 30 year old carpet had run its course.

Edited for spelling...

I'm tempted to be a smarta$$ and ask how much it bulged after you painted it, but I won't. :zip::you:

carpet? i thought it was llama skin

awthacker 12-15-2012 11:23 AM

Llama skin on the walls and ceiling. Brown astro-turf type carpet on the floor beneath the cushions. I took it all out and it looks, smells, and feels a lot cleaner in there now, but not very aesthetically satisfying to the wife. But its not like anybody spends any time in there.

Without carpet has merit too, depending...........

Waterproof gray might be nice.

My wife complained as well when I took the carpet out, said it was tuff on her back:zip:
