Hey there Chris, I have a 1975 V20 and I have a single 175 on a bracketn that I installed. You can chek out a site I am a member of. There are somem nice guys there restoring there V20 and we all have the same boat. www.wellcraftv20.com it is nice to talk to people who have the same boat as you do. I also belive that in the 70's there was a add for the V20 giving a option for twin 115 whih would be 230 hp rating, so I think you are fine! I even think we have a copy of that add at the v20 site? Yes I found it!!http://wellcraftv20.com/docs/1974_st...20_boating.pdf
good luck!! Hope to see you in the v20 site"

I wonder if anyone can find any earlier plugs.....

Holy crap that's old! Didn't Al Ghore create the Innerweb just a few weeks before that?

Yep 2003 was a long time ago!! Who would have thunk 10 years later I would own the site today! I was just a member here 5 months back then and CB is the one to blame for bringing me here from another site.
There won't be anything before that date as the site was started in 3/2003

Hell you "owned" it back in '03..lol!!...Looking up my old posts, it says my 1st was 8-31-03...but clicking on All Posts by Reelapeelin, it won't show 'em earlier than '07...did the old ones get away somehow...

I can see mine back to '04 when I joined. I was a lot better looking back then but I'm smarter now. :hi:

I met Timmy through THT. He told me he was thinking of starting a V20 site and I told him I loved the idea.

Reel I will have o look into it?? I know that moving from server to server over the years we lost things and it looks like some of your old posts might have been part of that?? At least we didn't lose you!!

CB I am glad you brought me here, and the friendship we have made!! I am a better person because of it!! Thank You!

And that go's for all here, I am a better person because of this site, and feel lucky to know all of you!! Thank you!!

I remember my first post was about the drain tube in the splashwell of my '74...a single hole right in the middle that that motor covered up so water wouldn't drain out...I wanted to drill and sleeve two new ones on each side of the motor and was hesitant to drill through the transom...

MJ basically said, Grow a set Wimp...just DO IT!!....not exact words, but that's the 1st response I got from this board...LOL!!...he was right...
