How to deny a child?
Plans were to take my 11YO daughter this weekend to kill a deer as per usual for youth weekend. After discussing the abilities of my younger one to sit still very long and such with my wife we had decided she would stay home.
Well, I get up this morning to get to work early so we can get in an afternoon hunt when my 7YO, Lana wakes up and thinks I am going to the camp. "No babe I am going in to work early so I can leave for the camp with Lexie around noon". Then comes "daddy I want to go and see a live deer Ive only seen dead ones." Then she gets up and starts packing her bag. Guess who has two little girls in tow this weekend? :sun: |
It don't get no better than that!

I know what you mean!!! My little girl is only 5 1/2 and when we are at stop lights she will look over and see a retention pond with cattails in it and say " I bet we can gig some frogs in that place daddy" lol!!!! She is a diehard country girl. She loves to hunt but she is a little to young to deer hunt with me but she wishes she could. |
Awesome!!! Mine is only one but I can only pray her itch isnt half as bad as her daddy's......otherwise we wont get nothin done!!!!
