This was written by a long time member of the Bass Barn. Thought you guys should see it.

Silencing The Iron Bell......It is finished...... Having spent countless hours, days, weeks and months of my life. Money and time that I wanted to devote to other things like fishing or other fun things with my wife and children. Even the loss of friendships.

All this time and effort to right the disastrous course my country has been set upon with millions of other patriots. Not for politics. Not for a party. But for our beloved Constitution that is more and more rapidly being ignored, distorted, destroyed and dismissed. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The glue that holds us together.

We are now a nation divided. And my side of the divide is greatly outnumbered. The majority won last night. And I include all of the people who chose not to vote in the majority as well since not voting is voting. Inaction is it's own action and carries it's own set of consequences. And elections, as this country is about to painfully discover, will have devastating consequences. The choice has been made. It defied all logic that I thought I understood about my country.

Apathy, ignorance, indifference and self entitlement has now replaced our founding principles of federalism, principled governance and personal responsibility.

At long last the American people will get the government it truly deserves.

After all the lies, deception, race baiting, demagoguery, class warfare, fiscal insanity, monetary abuse, a nuclear Iran, the abandoning of Israel, the abandonment of our immigration enforcement, Benghazi, terrorism coverups, gun running coverups, foreign relation disasters, corruption, cronyism, obstruction, contempt of Congress, abuses of power, all out attacks on people of faith, direct collaboration with Communists, Marxists and radical Islamists, chronic unemployment, crippling regulation, high gas prices, inflation, deficits and debt so massive as to be incomprehensible by most people, the highest tax hike in history with more to come on the first of the new year, promises of vengeance and payback upon our own citizens while the fate of our Supreme Court hangs in the balance. All this while slamming the pedal down and speeding straight towards the fiscal cliff at more than 180 million dollars an hour.

This was endorsed and promoted by the majority of this nation last night.

Honorable men like Allen West lost.....While demagogues like Alan Grayson and the socialist Fauxcahontas are back in.

Big Government....Socialism....Redistribution....Social Justice....Massive Deficit Spending.

The fundamental transformation of this nation.

The larger the government becomes the smaller the individual. The infringement on our individual rights is inevitable. They must infringe on your God given 9th & 10th amendment rights so that this man can grant you one of his own......Managed by him and the bureaucracy that will regulate it. This so called right is 2,500 pages long with an accompanying 48,000 pages of regulations. This new right demands that every citizen show proof of purchased insurance while the same man who is giving it to you abandons and willfully neglects any enforcement to prove that you are even a citizen. And if you do not exercise this right you will be fined for doing so. And it will cost conservatively 2.6 trillion dollars for you to have it. This right by the way is also a tax. The largest in the history of the world.

This and our Constitution as it was written cannot coexist and share the same space. Our newly reelected ruler has said as much. They are antithetical to each other.

Some things then must naturally come unglued. They then will set off their own series of consequences where more and more government will be required to manage it.

Obama has only been president for 1.3% of this nations existence yet is responsible for 35% of it's debt and now the vote has been cast for much much more. We admittedly have been on this path since Nixon, but no nation in the history of this planet has done what were are doing right now on the scale that we are doing it.

Everyone in D.C. admits this is unsustainable and cannot go on forever. The question that nobody is asking is what happens when it stops?

The answer: Everything comes unglued.

And last night the majority of this nation voted for it.

Have to disagree here. Lincoln spawned fedzilla with his unconstitutional acts against sovereign States and citizens in the Northern War of Aggression.

I'd have to agree with that, but at the time there was(and still is) a decided push to return this country to a caste system of government that had to stopped(only to return in a more political correct manner)

Socialism...Greedy Capitalists are buying your politicians on both sides of the aisle like there is a fire sale on them...consider all the small mom & pops that are today closed and how many big box stores thrive on so many street corners across our land...

I AM a Capitalist...I engage in Capitalism DAILY...I believe in Capitalism as the basis of what made our country the great force in the world that it is today...but the Capitalism I believe in in is PURE Capitalism that operates in a truly FREE MARKET...as opposed to the GREEDY Capitaists who buy politicians and MANIPULATE our SUPPOSEDLY Free market...Folks, Socialism doesn't stand a chance of BECOMING the threat Greedy Capitalism has already BECOME.

George Soros doesn't buy politicians to promote his political ideology as many would have you believe...he buys 'em to promote his business interests, the same as the Koch Brothers and Adelson buy theirs...y'all keep fearing European Socialism if you wanna...but remember ol Oz once said it's a Red Herring to distract you from the real threat...It's a well written piece only if ya like yer grape juice chunky w/bullsh!t style...

Not sure I follow what you're saying Spare. Are you referring to the current system where the political 'class' buys votes with freebies from the treasury?

Reel, I agree with you an many of your points, but let me ask you a question if I may? This is not a trick question to try and trip you up. It's an honest attempt on my part to try to understand and to learn.

If I understand you correctly, you are pointing out the big box stores as examples of capatilism going astray. Yet each and every one of them started out as a small mom and pop store serving a local area, and each and every one of them grew by hard work on the part of the founders of that company into what they are today.

So my question for you is this: At what point does a mom or pop capitalist become a greedy capitalist?

Do we limit the size of mom and pop stores? Do we force big box stores to downsize back into mom and pop stores? The fact is that each and every one of those stores became big by one simple rule. They offered a product at a better value than other stores did, so they grew and the other stores failed. That's capitalism. So what part of it is bad, and when do they reach that part?

Great question...has nothing to do w/size or assets...it's WHAT THEY DO w/their assets...do they properly invest their profits and wisely grow their business on a fair and level playing fields...or do they do as the Home Depot Founder, Ken Langone has done and start buying up available politicians...companies are as individuals..there are those who cheat and those who don't...the ones who tip the scales of a free market in their favor by buying up the power of your and my vote are cheats...plain and simple...and I just read and article about who the main players in political "contributors" are and they are as plentiful on the right as they are on the left...it's just this election cycle, the ones on the right are the ones licking their wounds cuz all the hundreds of millions of dollars they thought they were buying a presidency with, went down the drain on 'em...cold have just as easily gone in the crapper on the other side...

So it ain't what size...it's what intent...to cheat...or not...to think cheating is being "smart"...some justify it in their minds by saying, Everybody does it so why shouldn't I be smart?...Destroyer, if we've gotten to the point in this country that a large company has to own a stable of politicians to be successful, then we're in deeper ka-ka than even I thought...and I'm pretty cynical about it...

No doubt money is what has polluted our political system. The question is, how to get money out of politics without trampling on the 1st Amendment? As for the "Greedy Capitalists" label, I'd say it is just Greed of all flavors. The people looting us aren't capitalists , they're thieves.

Socialism has given us the gimme mentality that will destroy us, and emboldened politicians to keep doing more of the same. The politicians keep on giving away our money to buy voting blocks, but that train is headed for a major wreck. Welfare cost us $1 TRILLION this year, with 40% of that being borrowed money. How long can it continue?

Add to that:

The 14th amendment.

Creation of the federal reserve in 1912/1913, additionally the IRS.

Creation of Socialist INSecurity and gold confiscation by that bastard roosevelt (How many times was he elected?...... HMMMMMMM).

Removal of the gold standard by nixon.

The situation we find ourselves in is much bigger and deeper and has been going on for much longer than what 99% of the people think. People should research on their own instead of relying on corporate owned media to tell them whats going on. THEY ALL LIE!
