Quote of the decade
The Quote of the Decade: "The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better." ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006 Pass it on 'til eternity... |

Still you cannot hold one guy accountable...like I want to point out Geo Bush's failures as President...but even I have to acknowlege our problems are too big and accumulated over time to solve by hangin' one guy...our politicians are BOUGHT...plain and simple on both sides of the aisle...and they WANT us down in the trenches at ea/others throats over the window-dressing issues they want us to see...not the back room deals they make through their lobby buddies...
As long as we keep sending bought politicians to Washington, we're gonna keep on gettin' what THEY paid for...and yes, there are ways to stop it...we gotta go back and get past Reps v Dems and remember we are all Americans... |
politicians have been bought and paid for since George Washington, and he was the loser in a game of "not me". If you read history, you'll see every president we've had(good or bad) has been in some ones pocket

Reel it seems to me our present comandor in cheif forgot those were Americans in Libya when he turned his back on them.IMO that alone should be enough reason for him not to have a second term.As from what I've seen the only positive thing he has done for us was gettin Binladden
