V weather out there today, tuesday

First two bass of the fall season, beautiful eating size both around 32".
Shrewsbury Rocks area.......

FLAT calm ocean, nearly no wind, caught some bluefish too.

Anything that floats could have been out there today.

Back at Shark River by 2pm.

Step Up started the phrase " V weather " and I agree !

It's days when you get to really enjoy and appreciate these roomy 20 footers....

Depending on the track of Hurricane Sandy, by Monday, we could have 15' waves in the same area we fished that was like a pond.

Yep ...work sucks when you see a glassy ocean on the web cam.

I was out Sunday afternoon til sunset. Went south all the way down to Seaside Heights and back trying different spots from the beach out to 60 ft. NOT ONE BITE either trolling or jigging!

Guess I shoulda went north? Might have to do an early AM try on Friday. Weekend looks like a blowout.

Continued decent reports to the north - maybe go that way till it runs dry. Last year we did that, then found the last bite a few miles south of Sh R Inlet early December, then it was over.
