Weekend Hog killin
 

Had a good time chasin vermin in the woods. Grand total 3 hogs, 4 possums, a coon and a wallet with all Josh's credit cards, license, SS cards, etc, etc..



Its a long story but basically there was a hornet in the truck and I pulled over. He ran out screaming like a little girl and evidently knocked it out of his floor board onto the side of Hwy 84. Combed the side of the Hwy for a good while with no results.

He did a fine job of cristening the new AR. 3 all killed at once. :beer:.

Had sausage dogs and peppers friday night. Kendall cooked deer burgers and sausage saturday.

I've only gone hog hunting once down in SC at the Santee Cooper River but we were catching them alive....well the dogs would catch them and we would put the handcuffs on them. It was a wild deal. The dogs probably got the worst of it but these dogs looked like demon-pitbull-boxer mixes.

The real "fun" was pulling 300-400 LBS of screaming hog off the island and onto a jon boat, that and getting that second handcuff off a really pissed hog once we got him in the pen.

Fire up the Smoker call the boy's and tell them to bring Beer. You got the pig cookin.

Thanks guys! I was happy to put my buddy on em. We seen about 12 in all but they split pretty quick when the lead started flying. :sly:

are you using 5.56 or .300 blackout?
