Been having tons of fun on the boat this summer. Here are some recent pics...

In the slip. Note that I finally changed the thru hull fittings to stainless...

That is a BEAUTIFUL boat, and child too !

Questions:

1. How fast WOT ? Real curious about the performance with the etec 175.

2. Fuel burn at cruising speed ?

3. What are those teak looking pads on the gunnels ?

We should park our boats side by side. Set up the same except for the engines.
( mine's a 96' carb'd 150hp evinrude )

Ya know, I have no idea how fast she is or what the fuel burn is. Someday I'll buy a GPS so I can measure speed. I added the teak steps because I really like teak accents on these boats - plus I wanted a step pad for the kids and wife getting on/off the boat in bare feet. My favorite V20 is Emmet Fitzpatrick's in the Gallery section of this site. I also really enjoy maintaining the wood. At some point I'm going to replace my dash with a teak or mahogany one. When I do, maybe I'll add a fuel flow meter as well.

I'm trying to find a pic with the boat covered with fish guts! It's never clean for long - my daughter likes to grind up the bait and make fish cakes for the sharks.
