Red velvet ant sting test Due to a discussion on a hunting board Im on about the red velvet ant sting I decided to do an experiment. I recruited a buddy (my future BIL) to help me out with the experiment. Here are the results....I injured the ant trying to grab him with tweezers. He was trying to sting but I don't think he was packing full heat. I am now searching for another bigger ant to try on myself maybe today. :sun: http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv...?v=sG47ZGV11tQ |

You need a padded cell. They call them "Cow Killers" for a reason.. |

Yeah I'd like to use my BIL as a test subject. Stink you might want to show some respect to them things. Probably called Cow Killers for a reason. |

Oh i know, thats why I talked HIM into it. They got at least a 1/4" stinger. We got to talking about it and just felt it "had" to be done. :nut: It whelped up later about like any wasp sting but it wasnt to bad. |

Well they are wingless Wasps. Used to play with them as a kid. Man them things are strong and noisy too. |

Yep we used to mess with them thinking they were just big ants. Glad i never grabbed one to find out differently! |
