4 hp kicker
 

I found a little 4 HP short shaft in good running condition for next to nothing on Craigslist. I plan on buying it to use as a trolling motor. But I wanted to ask you guys first if ya think it would work out.

All I plan on using it for is walleyes trolling (1.5-2 mph) not worried about using it as a back up motor. If the big motor dies that's what tow boat us is for.

Think it would work out to push that boat along very slowly in maybe a 3 foot chop at worst.
