First bass of 2012
 

Told my wife I was going to stop at the boat after work to "check the lines". Picked up my brother and we were untied at 6;15.
Went right out to 60ft, half mile north of the Manasquan buoy.

We saw birds sitting so we checked them out, Massive school of bunker under them. My brother grabbed a snagger rod, snagged one immediately. Then I notice him struggling a bit... 25lb bass...first cast.

Unhooked it, I used the rod to snag another bunker, I reeled it in quick & put it on a circle hook rod. He let it out and bam!...20+ lb bass! Then I got one....

Bunker went down so we wandered around with some stretch +30s
Ended up with 5 by sunset.

Yah yah I know......Pix are on his camera so you'll have to wait.

Needless to say, SkunkBoat will be fishing hard the next few days

Pix from first bass and a 30 #er I got today
 

Got out again in the evening. I landed this 30 pounder and my brother pulled the hook on what was probably over 40.
