boston whaler??
so i took my 10 year old to one of our local boatramps yesterday and it's where they keep the local bay constable boats. they had one, a whaler, i guess around 22-23 or so. dont know what model, looked like the basic whaler shape, maybe an outrage. gotta say.... i liked it. i've fished on more than a few. couple of my friends have had a few different models. always thought the ride was a bit harsh but i must say this was a very nice boat. had a big honda on the back, maybe a 225 or so. may have to start saving my pennies.

looks like it must have been a 22 guardian. nice boat. pricey.

Ive had 3 and each one was nice.... and all 3 i sold for more than I paid.

gotta agree with lumber, they definately hold their value better than most other brands, i've had 2(still have one) and the one i did sell, was for more than i paid for it.

If it was light grey. it was either a guardian or a justice, neither one available for sale to the general public new. You can pick them up surplus though. Those are [probably the best hulls Whaler ever built. The ones they build now for the general public don't do much for me. IF you go price any at a dealership, make sure to take your heart meds before looking at the price

A V20 rides much better. Spent some of my youth on a 18 with a friend. solid boat but I now need spine therapy for what it did to me then in a chop. They re-did the hulls later but all they really did was get rid of some of the wetness.

Former 23' Outrage owner. What Spare and Willy said. Nice boats, very well equipped, hull had very little flex, heavy, unsinkable, dry, but the price and the bow steer, accu-trac my arse.. I didn't make any money on mine when it sold. I think it depends on the model and buy price as to getting hurt on the backside. Wait for the depreciation to flatten out before you buy. Bring on the chiropractor. I personally like the 27' full cabin.
