How far have you been in your V?
 

Just thought i would ask. What is the furthest you have been in your V20?

Personally, i have been 35 miles out in the Gulf, and add onto that about 10 miles to get the Gulf from the landing. So 45 miles each way. So 90-100 miles round trip for me. Took the entire 60 gallon tank, and the four 5 gallon cans we had on deck. Still had to call TowBoat to bring 5 more gallons of fuel. :nut:

Next spring, pending a V20 remodel and newer motor, i plan on a 60 mile run to the rigs for tuna. :sun:

Furthest away from shore? Spent a day cruising the Suwannee, 60 miles one way, I could always see both banks. Fuel burn was crazy good with the new to me motor that day.

Ran up and down the Jersey coast ....... figure 40 miles round trip.

I have run 100 miles in my V in a day, darn near used 20 gallons of gas!

Round trip was close to 100-115 miles burnt 3/4 of the tank on the second day I ever had Her out. Filled the fish box!!

50 miles east of Manasquan, NJ

~110 miles total and 32 gals ... 3.44 mpg running at ~5K rpm and 30 mph with some trolling added in

But it was FLAT and forecasted FLAT thru the next day.
