More hard water fishing Northren style Was out the other day with 3 of the boys to give em another lesson on who is on top of the food chain. We went out looking for a feed of tasty yellow perch. Good thing they took me we can only have ten each I put 35 on the ice and keep 20 in the pile on the ice. If you look close I drive the green quad and the pile of fish is beside it. Told them they had to at least catch half the days catch :nut:. #7 Len Thompson five of diamonds= fish fry in these parts http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...6/DSC05144.jpg http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...6/DSC05151.jpg http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...6/DSC05148.jpg Welcom home! http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...6/DSC05155.jpg Beer time:beer: http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...6/DSC05158.jpg |

I catch those from time to time in our local lake. Problem is they are about 1/10th that size. Like us, I think the catfish have figured how dang tasty they are. Otherwise I don't see why they don't seem to get any bigger? Unless our warmer water has something to do with it. |
