I'm saddended to say this is local to me as that is a local news channel. Sad part is she isn't no where near as bad as many of them in Tampa. Theres much worse than her down there, and even worse up by me. I can't hardly go to a store around here anymore without seeing people paying for there groceries with there welfare card, and then get into nicer vehicles than I drive. It is truly sad down here, and is no wonder we rate as the saddest are in the whole US.

Why don't the reporters ever ask why? As in why ms. lady with the 12 kids do you feel that it is others responsibility to financially support you and your children. Also what charged were brought upon Mr. 12 kids that he was incarcerated. I am sure that no once forced her into having 12 kids. actions have consequences. What is sad is that no matter what in this situation the kids lose.

Yer right CT...the kids lose, we ALL lose...it's LABELED Socialist...funny cuz there are a lotta folks on the right allowed it to happen and have sat by for many years and let it go...:head:

Things like that just make my blood boil. Obviously the woman is mentally retarded... Also obviously I'd be more than happy to help pay for her to get her tubes tied.. then she can f*ck anyone she wants. With any luck she'll catch aids and we'll be rid of her..... Oh wait... scratch that. I take it back.. we'll have to pay for her medicines to keep her alive if that happens... what a complete waste of a human being.

that, my friend is no human being. that is an animal. i think i'd rather pay to send her and her kids to another country. then she can see all the help she would recieve. piece if sh!t belongs in a hole. i'll dig.

Thyere is a big difference in the U.S. socialisim that we live under today vs socialism practiced in other countries. "TRUE" socialism requires everyone to carry the weight of the community, but the big difference is in education levels.
YES I said it, the U.S. has been living socialisticallyfor many years.
Social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, unemployment benefits, road taxes, and the largest social entity of all that we the taxpayer support - the military.
I am not complaining at all, there are many a good person that has fallen on hard times that needs a little help, but th epeople who are uneducated that think their lives are just to have more kids - unacceptable. Have her and her kids go clean roads to earn the handout she wants.
It is not hard to see what education does, around the world, areas with low education levels, many kids, suffering through hard circumstances. High education levels - people think and are aware of why they should only have the kids they can afford and know how to live within their means.

yes both sides are guilty. I was always curious as to why sterilization is not part of govt free health care. for example let's say this woman didn't won't more than 5 kids because the government had a 5 child cap on benefits received. In example, if you have more than 5 kids you do not get more benefits. There would be 2 motives to get the surgery. 1. The Government will not support more than 5 kids thus meaning I shouldn't have more kids. 2. hey free surgery not to have more kids that I will not receive aid for. The cap could be whatever you want. that's not the point I am debating. For example lets say that the surgery was $5000 to the tax payer. You would figure that between the medicaid and the WIC (free baby food) and the cost of delivery to the baby. that surgery would make sense financially to the Government.

This is would be completely voluntary to all those that qualify and would be better for the Mother and all the children. I thought it was a universal issue that parents want better lives for their children. I don't seen how this would disagree with that argument. Can someone play devil's advocate to my idea?

It still all comes down to one main theme, education that is not scaled down.
My son teaches high school in Los Angeles, you would not believe some of the stories he tells my wife and I.
It just amazes us to no end how kids can get to high school with the lack of knowledge he tells us about.
Let alone the lack of respect that should be taught at home.
