Wahoo!!
I did not catch any personally today, but they had some fresh fillets at the seafood market. My first time and wow it was delicious. I served with white beans and rice. I need to get the boat in the water asap!

If i run out of fourchon or grand isle, LA its a far run. I can run out of Venice, LA which is mostly running in the Mississippi River and you are in blue water shortly after you are out of the pass. |

150 ft will get you hoo, start at the ledge about 30 miles out, if you get in deep, they are hard to find. Biggest hoo I've seen came from 80 ft of water

Alright, well I think I got yall beat. We gotta run a minimum of 65mi, 70mi to the good stuff, to get in Wahoo country. My biggest, 55lbs, came from Navy Tower R4 which is about 62mi from here in 145'. Its not uncommon in Jax and St Augustine for them to catch em up to 120lbs, they get several every year this size........I wish the guys south of me would ease back on the "interceptions".......
