Anyone have any old Daiwa reels?

Specifically an AB-2650 or AB-4050 from the 80's. I am trying to fix one of my Grandfathers old reels but the parts I need are no longer available. So I am in search of a donor reel.

I've been watching ebay, but the only ones on there so far are nice working reels that go for more than I want to pay.

Any help will be much appreciated.

There's a place up here in MA that pretty much everyone uses because of their huge inventory. You can also send them the reel and they'll repair it for you or mail you the parts if you can come up with a part number.
You can soot them an email and see what their response is.
Here's their info;

I know I have some old Diawa AG's. I don't know if the parts will interchange, what exactly do you need

I've got a J1350 from the 80's, it still has most of the parts.

Thanks for all the replies, I have checked with Mikes, they dont have it. I will try the others.

I dont think the AG's have the parts I need, but would have to look up each one to see.

I looked up the J1350, it is different, but thanks.

Here is a link to a diagram of the reel, I need #4 (PN B80-5601) and #30 (PN B78-3001).

Just called the other two places, they both have the slider (#3) but not the other (#30). The lady at Bucko's said that it was a rubber piece that simply disappears after years of oil and grease exposure and will likely be missing from any old reel I find.

So I will have to either make up something or just forget fixing it.
