Guys video their own sinking!

I don't know what to make of the narration. I think I'd be a little more humble if it were me.

damn lucky that VHF popped up......I know they only had 30 seconds but I'd of made sure I had that bad boy in my pocket.

That's the sinking MJ posted under Everybody Read...

That's a really good idea that guy had about making up a sinking kit...put it where it will pop free all by itself... just in case.

After seeing this, I think I'll be getting a handheld VHF backup to keep handy just in case.

Define Irony:

Your boat sinks and you're adrift only to be rescued by a vessel named..... "Patience"

Am I'm only one that caught that?!?!?!?!?!?

Don't they have sensors of some sort that can sound an audible alarm when the water gets to a certain level in the bilge?

If this exists, could you guys make some recommendations on brand/model... I'm about to do some work on my boat and would like to include this feature.

Them boy's are lucky they fish in warm water you won't last long up here. Very :cen: lucky no sharks around if he was bleeding in the water!
WOW!!!!

tekmanx, I have my second bilge pump wired so I can turn it on manually or its set to run automatically with a float switch(its automatic all the time), I ran a second wire to connect with the pump feed wire that sounds an alarm behind the dash, you can wire a float switch alone to an alarm if you want it to be set at a different height of water
