Throttle cable adjustment

How do I know if my throttle cable is adjusted correctly ? I had an idiot mechanic, just can't trust anything he did, and I know he fooled with my cables. Thanks for any input:head:

That's a shame - throttle should be simple.
What's the issue ?

I had a throttle problem - too tight and wound up needing new cables.
Now works real well.

Sorry I don't know about adjustments.

I want to make sure my throttle is going down all the way because I am not getting full RPM's The engine is a 1995 150 HP Evinrude Ocean Pro

you can open the breather and look at carb butterflys, see if they are opening all the way
