Ledk9,

The seller lists the boat as a 1976 but it looks newer than 76 to me. I have a 76 and it didn't come with rod holders, just saddle tanks. Nice boat though and I wonder what that huge contraption is in the middle of the deck?? Where are you from in Ct. by the way? I am up in Woodstock.

Not sure what the box in the middle is but im guessing that it maybe a livewell and or storage box with drawers as the owner seems into fishing... I am from Griswold, CT and do most of my boating either in Fishers Island Sound or Watch Hill, Rhode Island area......

Definately a nice V for sure but the box looks like it takes up most of the floor space. Maco Joe built a great box for his V when he owned it. His was built right into the port side bulkhead which was great I thought. Out of sight and plenty of floor space left over for fishing. One reason why I bought the V was the fact of such an open floor space on deck.

I was out at Fishers about three weeks ago on a Tuesday. We seen another V out near Bartletts Reef that day was that you by any chance? The guy waved as we drove by on our way out to Fishers. I usually fish Block Island or Fishers Island, both produce fish well. Maybe we will catch you out there someday. I monitor and use channel 68 should you ever want to give me a shout, BenJenKate is the boat's name.
