A Fortunate Man

Well Brothers just got back from the Old Country yesterday.
After thirty years of putting up with me, my wife(the CEO) graced me with the pleasure of renewing our vows, and actually being re-married Italian style.
We did it in the village of her fore fathers. In a 500 year old Chapel built into the mountain above their village by those same gents.
Surrounded by 42 of her cousins and second and third cousins and aunts that still live there plus a bunch of friends and neighbors who came and honored us.

The reception afterwards with immediate family in a Villa built in 1200 AD.

Welcome home. You are indeed a fortunate man. Congrats on the trip looks like you had a good time. You were missed by at least one on here my friend. Great pics, keep them coming..

The people, her family especially are some of the most warm and loving people the good Lord has put on earth and my family spent an incredible two weeks there with the best part being in her father and mother's village. The sights were all seen from Rome to Florence to Chianti to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast.
But each one of my kids said the same thing, Dad we love it here the best.
The village of Profeti, the home of their Nona and Grandpa

Great pics Willy, thanks for sharing them with us. My wife and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary- 6.29.83. We're thinking of doing something like that for our 30th. Congratulations, 30 years is a milestone many never see! You're a lucky man for sure! We love Italian food and have always been intrested in visiting Italy. We would really like to take a trip like that soon. Keep them pics coming!
