Advance Auto Parts Store

Just wanted to give them an ATTABOY.

The brakes on my "Stinky Old Van" as my kids call it, finally got so bad I had to replace them again.

Took off the pads and rotors from the front (Backs are still fine).
Dropped off the rotors to be turned and went to Advance Auto where I had bought the pads the last time I replaced them.

Told the guy that I thought I had bought them there a while back but couldn't find the paperwork and thought they had a warranty. He looked up my phone number in the computer, walked to the back, handed me a new set and said "have a nice day".

Picked up the rotors and had it all back together in less than 2 hours.

Cost me $20 total.

Most all of the big parts stores do this now with there budget parts. I know AUTOZONE is the ones who started the lifetime warrnaty stuff when they came out. CARQUEST and NAPA also offer some lifetime warranty brake pads, but the really good ones are only 90 days.
