Got the shirts Thanks! Boat floats! Launched in the afternoon & rigged up the slip. Took a quick ride out to what was left of the fleet on bunker schools.
Beautiful weather, we snagged 2 bunker & gave it 20 minutes. My helper had to "be somewhere" at 5 so we called it a day.
I was so sure that Sunday morning would be flat & foggy and a total slay. WRONG! East 20-25 & snotty. Drowned one bunker & called it a morning.

Saw a Yellow hulled V20 on my way in Manasquan Inlet & exchanged waves. Was that anyone here?

yeah man. That was me! My son and I went out for a few hours. We trolled some bunker spoons for a while but only managed to get a big old blue fish. It was pretty darn sloppy out there. Glad to see your finally in the water.

How did you like the Suzuki?

yea the weathermen are on a real roll here lately. All week long all we heard was good weather Sat, better Sunday.....did all my yard work Sat and headed out later Sunday .....barely made 1/4 way out Raritan bay before the wife and kids started complaining how rough it was.

Glad you got your boat in the water Skunk. There will be more days.

Boat looks nice. I like how you added the stainless steel rails on the side. I have always worried about pitching over the gunwale in a rolling sea.

Got the Suzuki fixed. If you remember I had an exhaust corrosion problem in the engine holder assembly. $1800 for new parts installed. Found no other corrosion, looked good. Your 2003 model of Johnson is likely to get the same problem. I will repost all the info I have under Repairs.
