Baden Lake, NC Largemouth
Yesterday I went to Baden Lake and had a good day.
Ended up with 7 bass and probably 50 bluegills. Turned them all loose so I can catch them again next week. This one weighed in at 3 pounds 3 ounces. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...r/3pounder.png This one was 5 pounds 5 ounces. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...r/5pounder.png |
You didn't keep any for the pan, I got hungry just looking at you hold them.

Dang randle, don't take this the wrong way, it's the fish envy showing (or more correctly lack of fishing).
The Bream are supposed to go home with you, they want and expect it. I understand throwing back the Bass, they taste like crap when a little over 3lbs. And the hat, the hat ain't a problem but gettin' your picture taken with it. Sorry, had the boats ready and full of fuel since the turn of the year and all kind of stuff still is getting in the way still. Just fish envy. Good goin' take a Bream home. |
I know......and there were some good sized bluegills too....I was just too pressed for time to clean them.
The hat? I credit the hat totally with the good fishing luck....my buddy who's boat I was on only caught two little ones all day, and none until after 7 hours on the water. |
