bow rail
 
I have to replace my bow rail and put new fittings on, did anyone ever bend a rail? if so how did you do it and was it dificult, i want to put on a s,s, rail but it might be to hard to bend thats what i was told,

Step, where are you at?
Reason I ask is I have a rail sitting in my yard I offered to guys before, it's still here. Off a 86 V Cuddy.
Too big to ship obviously, so its pick up only.

Itook the rail off myv20 years ago cut in half as its easier to ship that way ans a wasy fix with a v conector later~ cb took it and has never used it, last i knew ot was offered here for free afew times, he may have got rid of? i can ask

willy, i live by lake hopatcong but i put my boat in at atlantic highlands nj
I have a 1978 but i think they should all fit

Steplift20, I have a 78 also, and my bow rail is off an 86 (I think.. Rob do you remember?) Anyways, the rail fit perfectly. You may have to bend it a triffle, but I'm talking more like a push to get in into the right position as you sock home the bolts. You should have no problems with it. :head:

Yup, definitely off of an 86
