EVINRUDE engine tuner

Do any of you guys out there no where to buy EVINRUDE engine tuner by the gallon anymore? I can't find it on there website any longer, and non of the dealers around me have it anymore. Or do you know of an equivelant product in a gallon size? I use it for cleaning carbs as it is the BEST product I have ever found for cleaning carbs and doesn't harm rubber or plastic. My gallon is getting pretty well used up from soaking so many carbs over the years and it's time to find some more.

The old GM stuff has been discontinued for the new injector cleaner, and it doesn't clean no where near as well(I have some of both here at the house). The EVINRUDE stuff was the best by far though of anything I've used.

Ditto. There are several dealers/marina's around here. Maybe one has some sitting on a shelf. I'll do some checking also.

If one of us finds it locally, will it be worth you payin' shippin'?...or are you lookin' to find an internet source for it?...if you're willin' to pick up shippin', I'll check w/my Good Buddy dealer up here...if it's still on the market, he can get it...

I don't mind payin the shipping so lonag as it's not sky high. I don't need it in a hurry or anything either, but this is the only cleaner I've found that doesn't harm plastic. Here recently I've had a run on bad fuel injectors and I use this stuff for cleaning them on the bench(I'm one of them wierd cheap guys that services injectors in my shop).

Ya might wanna check on the cost of shippin' a gallon of volatile liquid and make sure it passes the "not sky high" test...ain't tryin' to trip you up or anything, but the devil's in the detail ya know and shippin fees are gonna run a gal of that stuff up pretty good I expect...:head:

Hey ferm, have you tried an ultrasonic? I started with this one from harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/25-lite...ner-95563.html Once i figured out how well it works I bought one of these http://www.***elsmall.com/ulcaclsysh.html. I still use the Yamaha cleaner when I get some green parts. But by using the ultrasonice, I've only been thru 2 qts of Yamaha in hte past year. I just add a little purple power to teh water. My wife likes it because the house doesn't smell like carb cleaner. as far as injcetors go, there are several local shops that clean them in house using an ultarsonic. But htey don't have the tools to measure flow. They check pattern, but thats about it. Thats why i use injectorrx. they clean them, put new screens inthem, and flow test each one, They give you a nice chart showing the flow before and after that i give a copy of to my customers. That way they can see it was an issue. My thinking is on a marine efi system , it won't know if its a lttle lean unitll you burn a piston.
