74 restored v20 in NY--$5000
A little steep, especially given the trailer, but looks like he did a nice job...

another one in my neighborhood. I can go check it out if needed. I'd love to pick up a CC. Anyone want my full transom cuddy?

What would be a fair price for this boat if everything is in good condition?

My personal opinions/comments are: Single axle trailer... -$500 Painted hull... -$150 Rusty, manual winch -$ 50 Once I heard the engine running and took it for a test run I'd offer $3500 cash, and I'd be willing to haggle with the guy up to $4000. After $4000 it would really have to be a great boat to keep me interested. But that's just me and my opinion. Others will have different opinions I'm sure. Good luck in your hunt. |
FWIW, I tend to agree with Destroyer. His reasoning seems right on the money, no pun intended... LOL...

I could never buy a center console anymore....My expctations have been completely compromised.....
Unless this one was for sale: http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/c...1/DSCF5538.jpg |
I checked this one out today. The hull side paint job isn't bad, but the restoration work was done a bit sloppy. The engine looked clean and was installed on a jackplate. The transom was beefed up and closed in a bit, but the work is already cracking there and in the corners on the floor. He said he was negotiable but I would not have paid anywhere near the asking price..
It made me realize how clean my V20 cuddy really is! |
